What we can help with
- Tariff corrections. If a slab rate, fixed charge or subsidy rule on our site contradicts an official SERC order or DISCOM schedule, send us the state, the DISCOM and the source link — we will verify and fix it, and note the correction.
- Calculator bugs. Describe what you entered and what the result showed; if it is a reproducible arithmetic bug, we will fix it fast.
- Feature requests. Want an EV-specific calculator, a ToD calculator, or a Hindi interface? Tell us.
- Blog topics. The blog is written from reader questions — the more specific your question, the better the article.
What we cannot do
We cannot file complaints with DISCOMs, settle disputed bills, or give legal or financial advice. For a disputed bill, the official route is your DISCOM's complaint system, then the CGRF and the Electricity Ombudsman — we document the process in the blog so you can run it yourself.
Before you write
For bill disputes, first run the five-minute meter check — most disputes are resolved before any email to anyone. If you are reporting a tariff error, include the official link; that single step turns "we think this is wrong" into a fix.
