1. What the site is
BijliCalculator.in provides free, browser-based estimates of electricity bills and educational articles about electricity billing in India. It is a tool for understanding and roughly checking a bill — it is not your DISCOM's billing system, and it is not a substitute for your official bill.
2. The estimates are estimates
Calculator results are computed from tariff data we have verified against published regulator orders wherever possible. Tariffs change; FAC varies every billing cycle; your bill may include arrears, adjustments, penalties or exemptions that no general calculator can know. Before acting on any discrepancy — disputing a bill, refusing a payment, or changing your connection — confirm the details with your DISCOM or your state regulator. 3. Acceptable use
The calculators are free for personal and small-business use. You agree not to:
- Scrape, mirror or bulk-redistribute the site's content, tariff tables or tools for commercial use without written permission;
- Attempt to disrupt, overload or reverse-engineer the site or its scripts;
- Present BijliCalculator estimates as official DISCOM billing;
- Use the site for anything unlawful.
4. Intellectual property
The site's design, text, code and illustrations are ours unless stated otherwise. Tariff figures and regulator content remain the property of their respective state authorities and DISCOMs, and are referenced for illustration. You may share links and quote short passages with attribution; you may not republish whole pages or tools.
5. No warranty, limited liability
The site is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of the site or from reliance on its estimates — including any bill, penalty, or disconnection decision you make based on our numbers. This is a free tool; please do not bet a disconnection notice on it without checking the official record.

7. Changes
