How does the 7% on-time rebate work?
Pay MSEDCL before the due date and the energy charge is discounted 7%. BPL/EWS homes under 100 units can also apply for SMART rooftop solar — but the current order has no universal free-units scheme, so the calculator applies none.
What is the ₹75/kW fixed charge?
MSEDCL charges about ₹75 per kW of connected load per month (interim-rated). A 2 kW connection pays ₹150/month before any energy charges.
