Up to 150 units it's a flat ₹134/month. Above 150 units it becomes ₹300/kW of connected load — e.g. a 2 kW connection pays ₹600/month fixed, before energy charges.
Is electricity free in Madhya Pradesh?
Not free outright, but under the Atal Grah Jyoti Yojana a domestic consumer using ≤150 units/month gets the first 100 units billed at a flat ₹100 (the state pays the difference). Units 101–150 are billed at the normal tariff. If consumption crosses 150 units — even by one unit — the entire subsidy is withdrawn and the full bill applies from the first unit.
